In Korean TV dramas, the story, though the setting may be historical, supernatural, fantasy, or futuristic, is always a love story ... at least for most of the K-dramas that were translated and shown here in the Philippines. Usually, it becomes a love triangle, like 2 boys are in love with 1 girl, and 1 boy is rich and the other boy is poor.

A: Who do you think will the girl choose?

B1: If this is your 1st time to watch a K-drama, use will = The girl will choose the rich boy.

B2: If you know the pattern of K-dramas, use going to = The girl is going to choose the poor boy.

Will is used if you're just stating your personal opinion.

Going to is used if you have a stronger basis, like what you have read, watched or heard from other people. You can also use it if you're already familiar with the pattern being used, just like with our example of Korean TV dramas.
